Swami ChidanandaSwami Chidananda has been a speaker, writer and a teacher of spiritual topics for nearly three decades. He is the founder and chief resource person of FOWAI FORUM, a non-government organization (NGO) engaged in dialogues on human values, promotion of spiritual studies and serving all life forms. At the age of 23, he was inspired by the eloquent discourses of the famous Vedanta teacher Swami Chinmayanandaji. He put aside a career in Electronics Engineering and went for the study of the Upanishads. He studied at his guruā€™s ashram in Mumbai (1984 ā€“ 86) and thereafter served the masterā€™s institution Chinmaya Mission for sixteen years (1986 ā€“ 2002). He taught philosophy at Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Kochi and in California, USA. He spoke at many academic, social and business centers in India and North America. His thought evolved through coming in contact with the works of several great thinkers, notable among them being Ramana Maharshi and Jiddu Krishnamurti.

Till recently (2003 ā€“ 2013) he held executive positions at Rajghat Education Centre, which is the chapter at Varanasi of Krishnamurti Foundation India (KFI). He was involved in certain projects of education and rural service. Since 2009, he has been a member of KFIā€™s Governing Body. In April 2013, he vacated his quarters in Varanasi, while continuing his association with the Centre. He divides his time between Solan (Himachal Pradesh), Kudal (Maharashtra), Hyderabad and Varanasi.

He carries on his pursuit of truth while sharing his observations with interested audiences through talks and writings. He often conducts seminars and workshops on a number of themes of executive training and value-based management.
